Blue Tussock Grass
Distribution: It is native to coastal southern Australia where it occurs along ocean foreshores, estuaries, dunes and cliffs.
Status: Considered Rare in Northern Yorke Peninsula.
Plant Description: A densely tufted, erect, perennial tussock grass, with distinctive blue-green leaves, that grows to about 1 m in height. Drought hardy and low maintenance in native gardens. Useful for erosion control and revegetation of harsh environments such as coastal areas.
